Hi everyone,
Nicolas Yunes will be giving a seminar about MUSES tomorrow. If anyone is interested, below I am pasting the e-mail invitation from Daniel Brandenburg.
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to invite you to the next seminar as part of the 9th season of the RHIC-BES on-line seminar series, Tuesday Dec 3rd. Seminars will take place every two weeks covering a broad range of experimental and theoretical topics relevant to the physics of the Quark Gluon Plasma and the RHIC Beam Energy Scan.
You are invited to join the talk (Dec 3rd 2024, 9am EDT):
Title: MUSES, A new cyberinfrastructure to inform the nuclear phase diagram puzzle with data
Speaker: Dr. Nicolas Yunes
Abstract: MUSES (Modular Unified Solver of the Equation of State (EoS)) is a new NSF-funded collaboration that develops a cyberinfrastructure to provide to the scientific community novel tools to answer critical interdisciplinary questions in nuclear physics, gravitational wave astrophysics, and heavy-ion physics. I will review the scientific goals and the current status of the project, with focus on the modules that will become available through an imminent beta release.
Time: 9:00pm (Beijing)=10:00pm (Tokyo)=6:30pm (New Delhi)=3:00pm (Frankfurt) =6:00 am (San Francisco)=9:00 am (New York)
