The Nuclear Theory Group at the University of Houston has a postdoctoral position available, starting in the fall of 2026. Our interests include non‐perturbative QCD, lattice QCD, QCD at finite temperature/density, physics of high energy heavy ion collisions, physics of the Quark‐Gluon Plasma, physics of neutron stars and mergers, equation of state for hot and dense strongly interacting matter. The position is for two years. The group works in close contact with the experimental STAR and ALICE heavy ion group at the University of Houston. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with other scientists affiliated with the MUSES and NP3M collaborations.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics.
The Deadline for applications is Jamuary 15th, 2026. The interested candidates should send a CV, list of publications, statement of research interests and arrange to have three letters of recommendations sent to: cratti[at]uh.edu
