Our recent upgrade to the latest Discourse version includes new notification menus and a customizable sidebar.
One of the new features (that I personally like about the new sidebar) allows you to add sections for specific tags and categories you want to follow, such as the muses_meeting_2023 tag or the “Cyberinfrastructure” category. In your personal preferences (see screenshot below), you can add tags and categories you want displayed in the sidebar to make navigating to content easier.
