NCSA Delta/DeltaAI training opportunities

We would like to bring to your attention the following training opportunities:

  1. Getting Started with DeltaAI, October 7th, 2025 from 1pm – 3pm Central

    NCSA is offering a 2-hour workshop on Tuesday, October 7 to introduce the DeltaAI cluster and teach how to perform basic tasks in its cluster environment. There are no prerequisites for this workshop, and attendees will be added to a training allocation if they do not already have one. Register here by Thursday, October 2. This is a virtual event.

  2. Accessible HPC Workshop Series, October 7, 2025 - October 9, 2025 10:00 - 11:30 am Central

    Join us for a comprehensive three-part workshop series designed to introduce researchers and practitioners with disabilities to the NCSA Delta high-performance computing cluster.

    This hands-on series prioritizes command-line proficiency, clear verbal instruction, and practical problem-solving approaches that work for all users. All instruction assumes a non-visual context. Please see NCSA Training and Seminars for more information and to register for the event. This is a virtual event.

  3. NVIDIA DLI Workshops for NAIRR and ACCESS Allocated Projects

    NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute (DLI) is offering a series of free, virtual instructor-led workshop providing hands-on experience. Requirements**:** Only active NAIRR and ACCESS allocation holders are eligible to participate. Workshop seats are not guaranteed and subject to availability.

@jakinh Might be a good idea to start sending students and postdocs who are planning to work on the emulators to these valuable training sessions so they not only learn the basics but connect with the people who actually run the machines.
