It has been exciting to see so many new people registering to use the MUSES Calculation Engine (CE) for the first time. At the moment we have nearly 80 registered users! The module developers and I have been working for several years to make this service a reality, and now that it is open to the public, we need your help to ensure it will not only survive but thrive.
We need @ce-users to engage with one another here on the forum when possible. Ask questions and provide feedback about the CE here so that others may benefit from your ideas and the answers you receive. There are many advantages to using our forum, both to you and to our fledgling community, instead of always communicating in closed emails to specific people. Personally, you can meet new people and expand your professional network. The activity will also demonstrate to funding agencies that their investments are indeed benefiting the scientific community as intended, making it more likely for MUSES to find support in the future.

We want you to think of MUSES as more than just a tool; it is both software and a community that you can shape and improve by your engagement. Let us know what you like and what you want to work better.
(Note: Rarely should you receive “mass emails” like this one generated by the noisy @ce-users mention of all CE users. If you are new to modern web forums, please take a moment to read this article about how to manage your notifications to optimize your signal-to-noise ratio.)
